1 - Living Man with the Longest Beard
This Guinness World Record was recorded on September 2011, in Surrey, British Columbia—This record belongs to the Canadian Sarwan Singh. When measured at that time, the beard of the man measured 8 feet 2.5 inches (2.495 m) long.
Imagine the amount of beard oil he needs to maintain such a mane!
2 - Living Man with the Longest Mustache
The Guinness Record for the longest moustache belongs to the Indian Ram Singh Chauhan. This record was recorded in Rome on March 2010—during the TV show "Lo Show dei Record"—At that time, the man's mustache measured 14 ft (4.29 m).
Imagine that kind of length for a moment, and ask yourself how he walks around with such a mustache? Easy, he wraps it around his neck—And that's no joke.
3 - Biggest Weight Lifted by a human Beard
If you thought that weightlifting was only done at the gym, you've seen nothing yet—Men are now using their beards to lift and pull weight.
A new record was recorded in Turkey, Istanbul, on June 2013 by a 61 years old man named Antanas Kontrimas. He lifted with his beard the biggest weight ever recorded. The Lithuanian man raised directly on the set of the television show "Rekorlar Dunyasi"—the host of the show with his beard, who weighted in at 140 lb and 16 oz (63.80 kg). Imagine, some of us don't even lift this weight with our arms!
4 - Man with the Largest number of Wins in the Beard & Mustache World Championships
The world record for the greatest number of victories in the Beard and Mustache World Championships at this time is 8. It is held by the German Karl-Heinz Hille. He ranked 6 times first in the category of the imperial partial beard (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 20011) and was declared 2 times first overall champion (1999 and 2003).
As a big fan of beards and mustaches, he participated in the annual beard and mustache world championships from 1999 to 2011.
5 - Youngest Woman to have a Full Beard
The young Pakistani Harnaam Kaur became at age 24 the youngest woman to have a full beard (6 inches).
She suffers from the polycystic ovarian syndrome—A disease which accelerates and causes excessive hair growth. Of course, when she was younger, she was often intimidated and just wanted to hide. But today she's proud and she assumes herself completely. Lots of respect for this woman, she can grow a beard like some of us can't even think of.
