A New Study Saw the Day
A recent study conducted by journalists from Action 7 News in Albuquerque in New Mexico, calls and shocks bearded of this world by demonstrated that the bearded beard is dirtier than a toilet. This study aimed to analyze and determine the type and amount of bacteria that is found in a beard. To do so, some men have accepted to provide a sample of their beard for it can be analyzed. The microbiologist John Golobic from the Quest Diagnostics company was assigned to this study and made the analyzes of beards. According to him, the results of the tests were very surprising.

The results are mixed
In his report, the microbiologist stipulates that half of the beards analyzed contained normal levels of bacteria while the other half of beards contained a level of enteric bacteria similar to those found on a toilet lid. The enteric bacteria are normally found in the intestines and in the feces.
However, not everything is black. The popular TV show "Mythbusters" has recently demonstrated that bacteria from feces were present everywhere around us even if it is true that it is likely to end up in the strong hairs areas. In reality, this type of bacteria can be on the door handles of your home, on your phone, on your computer keyboard and on any other objects that can be manipulated. Even your skin or the well-cleaned face of those who are shaved is subject to be covered with these bacteria. In others-words, if we consider the demonstration of this Action 7 News study, even the face of those freshly shaved can be compared to the dirt level of a toilet lid.
A biased study
The results of this study seem at first quite shocking and scary given the ''Monster'' title attached to it but rest assured. While it is true that the enteric type of bacteria tend to find themselves on strong hairs areas, remember that they are also present everywhere around you. No matter where you are or no matter what you do, you can not escape it. By cons, what this study omits is that the human body is a powerful machine that can easily push away the germs that might be harmful to him such as the enteric bacteria. In addition, it is all a matter of hygiene. People sporting a beard should clean it from 2 to 3 times a week and apply beard oil with antibacterial properties on a daily basis. To reduce the level of bacteria, bearded should also wash their hands frequently and try to keep them away from their face.
Finally, bros, continue to let your beard grow while maintaining it on a daily basis and be proud of it. This biased study succeeded in misinforming many people. You can now answer them, if they make you the remark, that the level of dirt and enteric bacteria on their hands, their phone, their toothbrush etc ... is also comparable to that one of a toilet lid.
