Born in Gatineau, Remi is a young competitive man who stacks top honors on the field. Adoring physical activity, training, and self-improvement, he has always been a top athlete. His collegial success, as an athlete with the Outaouais Griffons, earned him a bronze medal at the Quebec RSEQ collegial Division 1 Championship and a scholarship from the Quebec Foundation for Athletic Excellence. (FAEQ). This allowed him to settle in Quebec City to continue his studies and join the ranks of Laval University's Rouge et Or volleyball team as a Libero.
Today, thanks to his tenacity, his speed, and his good analytical mind, Remi is in his third season on this team and has even worn the colors of the all-star team twice already, either during the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 seasons. This year, he and his team also won top honors by winning the RSEQ university championship and even finished third in the USports championship. Although he is not very tall, it never stopped him from being strong and achieving his goals. Like a true legend, this favorite quote is "Win The Day" and its hashtag is #ShortestGuyBiggestPlayer.
To top it off, Remi will begin a bachelor's degree in kinesiology next fall. Like what, sports and studies are always a great match. We wish him the best of success in all that he'll undertake. A beautiful career awaits him!
