Your parents probably taught you to eat with cutlery right? And even if you wanted to, you're not a Viking.

Like any civilized human being with a bit of class and good manners, you should eat with a fork and a knife—You'll have more control over the amount of food you want to take and on the angle in which it enters your mouth. If you have a big mustache, it is especially important to prepare small bites—Generally, by using utensils and taking small bites, you can easily eat about anything.

Of course, there are always events and moment in life—as parties or BBQ's—when you can't choose what you'll eat. In those cases, prioritize foods that you can eat with utensils—if you don't want to end up with a beard packed with food residue.

   

   

How to Eat Soup, Noodles, and Pasta with a Long Beard? 

To eat a soup or pasta without dirtying your beard, we use have a very simple technique. This may sound crazy, but it's really convenient—Any beardsman would tell you.

By using your non-dominant hand, seize your beard and tends it to one side or the other just before taking a bite.

Regarding pasta, men with big beards usually cut their pasta before eating them—It is easier for to take small bites and prevent any dirt accumulation in the beard.

If ridicule doesn't kill you, you can even put your beard inside your t-shirt. The collar should keep it tight enough and prevent it from sweeping your plate.
