The beards are today more popular than ever. These are sporting by more and more men from all around the world. This cultural phenomenon makes smiling bearded. However, this tendency to grow a long glorious beard is not appreciated by all and leaves to judgments, dislikes and is even completely rejected by haters. So, this dichotomy can be less pleasant for gentlemen who's sporting the beard. Since the numerous publication of blog posts comparing the beard dirt level to that one of a toilet lid, the bearded men are more than ever subject to hateful and derogatory comments from the plebs. Obviously, things have to change and nobody but us, bearded, can help our cause. To do this, we have to stay positive and acted as wise men and avoid responding to hate with hate.

Positivism, a peaceful destructive weapon

In response to blog posts written earlier this year, which stipulate that the level of dirt of a beard is comparable to that one of a toilet lid, comments are split. However, the negative responses rate is 10 times higher than the positive response rate. Moreover, some even say that the beard itself is not cool or that the beard grooming products are completely useless since a beard must have a natural look. What these people do not know is that since the dawn of time, men maintain their beard and stylize it with beard oils or mustache waxes. In reality, these grooming products provide the favorable nutrient intake to the growth of a healthy beard while allowing it to keep his natural look. Only waxes that can style the beard and/or mustache may alter their natural appearance. Obviously, people opposing those who sport a beard and the products required for his maintenance are not or poorly informed about it and are often invaded by pejorative prejudge. The best way to combat these disparaging opinions is to be a more sophisticated, a more mature and a more wise man. Opt for a behavior pattern based on wisdom, humor and positivism rather than embark yourself in endless debates often unsightly and disrespectful. Let those who have divergent views which are often erroneous express it as they wish. Often these are just poor victims of their own ignorance or of their uncontrollable jealousy towards their genetics that do not allow them to sport the beard that they always dreamed. The key is to prove to these people that the bearded men are beings worthy of wisdom who preach beautiful virtues such as patience, persistence, and positivism. Ignore those hateful people or show them that their criticisms and comments didn't affect you through your positivism and that humor is one of the most powerful weapons to fight the beard bigotry.

The terminology itself is responsible for the prejudice

Following the blog posts publications that comparing the beard dirt level to that one of a toilet lid, reactions and comments of haters have exploded. To prevent this kind of propaganda posts that hurt and could affect again in a near future the judgment of the plebs, we should work together to change the ''clean shaved'' term for the ''beardless'' term since it is completely wrong to believe that a beard is as dirty as a toilet lid. Failing to what the majority believes, ''beardless'' people can also have dermatological problems due to a poor hygiene of their skin. Lastly, by encouraging your close or distant friends and your family members to turn for this far less prejudicial terminology and by adopting behaviors based on positivism, we will certainly beat this beard bigotry that is well and truly present and that is haunting us.
